Part does not adhere to the build platform

Part does not adhere to the build platform

Possible Causes

1> The dental model, when printed directly on the build platform, may not be positioned correctly during nesting. Additionally, it is not placed at Z = 0 and instead remains floating in space.

2> The black screw that secures the build platform or the set of two black screws that hold the resin container are not tightly fastened and are currently loose.

3> There is a fragment of cured resin floating inside the resin or attached to the build platform or the resin container film. This fragment is obstructing the build platform from properly aligning and fitting into its designated position.

4> The resin may be exhibiting one or more of the following issues: it is either too cold, inadequately mixed, past its expiration date, or there is an insufficient quantity available.

5> The build platform has deviated and requires reinstallation.

6> The build platform is damaged and bent, necessitating its replacement.

7> The printing film has suffered extensive damage, including excessive scratching, perforations, and has surpassed its intended lifespan.

8> There are two potential issues: either the screen protector on the printing LCD is damaged, contaminated with dirt, or the black tape around the LCD is obstructing the proper placement of the build platform.

9> If there is no cured resin found on the printing film, it could indicate a problem with the LCD system, such as damage or a software issue related to the LCD index, graphic driver or a potential virus affecting windows operating system. Another possibility is that the LED system responsible for curing the resin is not functioning properly.

Possible Solutions

1> Ensure that the model is correctly positioned and aligned on the build platform during the nesting process.

2> Please ensure that the black screw of the build platform and the set of two screws that hold the resin container are securely tightened.

3> Clean the resin using a filtration paper and carefully inspect both the build platform and the resin container film to ensure there is no cured resin present.

4> Ensure that the resin temperature falls within the recommended range of 25 to 35°C. Preheat the resin if necessary and mix it thoroughly with Shape X RP. Before use, clean the resin container with a filtration paper if it has been previously used. Additionally, ensure that the resin is not expired and that the quantity in the container is above the indicated minimum level.

5> Please readjust or relevel the build platform to ensure it is properly aligned and positioned.

6> Order a new build platform to replace the existing one and reinstall it.

7> Replace the 3D printing film/membrane and reset the counter for accurate tracking.

8> Replace the screen protector and the surrounding black tape for the printing LCD.

9> Perform a virus scan, verify if the display appears in the display settings, and if the LCD is damaged, proceed with its replacement.
